African civil society is rich in purpose but weakened by competition. This article argues that systems thinking offers a pathway out of fragmentation and into collective power. Drawing on four pillars of systems thinking, it provides civil society leaders with a practical orientation for driving systemic change through collaboration, shared intelligence, and ecosystems thinking.
